Safety & requirements

About Flight Safety

Absolutely. All our pilots have more than 10 years of experience flying in Antioquia and are certified by the relevant aeronautical federations. We use internationally homologated equipment inspected before every flight. The San Félix viewpoint in Bello is recognized as one of the safest paragliding sites in Colombia, thanks to its privileged weather and stable thermal currents.

You don't need any experience. Our flights are 100% tandem: you fly accompanied by a professional pilot who controls all the equipment. Your only task is to run a few steps at takeoff and enjoy the panoramic view of the Aburrá Valley. There is no age limit — minors can fly with a signed authorization from their parents or guardians.

Yes, and it's more common than you think. Most of our adventurers are a little nervous before the flight, but paragliding feels very different from standing on a high balcony. You sit comfortably in a harness and the sensation is of floating gently, not falling. The nerves disappear in the first few seconds of flight and turn into pure adrenaline and enjoyment.

The recommended maximum weight is about 100 kg (220 lbs). If you have any doubts about your weight or physical condition, message us on WhatsApp and we'll advise you personally. In the vast majority of cases we can accommodate you without any problem.

Yes, there is no strict minimum age limit, as long as the child can run a few steps at takeoff and meets the minimum weight of about 25 kg. Minors need a signed authorization from their parents or legal guardian present on the day of the flight.

It depends on the package. The Total Adventure package ($440.000 COP) includes 4K video and 360° photos with professional Insta 360° and GoPro cameras. For the Explorer and Urban Extreme packages, you can add video and photos as an add-on for an extra cost. You receive your files the same day as the flight.

We accept credit and debit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through Wompi (Bancolombia), Nequi, direct bank transfer and cash on the day of the flight. You can also book and arrange payment via WhatsApp.

Yes. With 48 hours' notice: full refund. With 24 hours: 50% refund or free rescheduling. Same day: no refund is offered, but you can reschedule by paying the difference if applicable. Due to weather: always free rescheduling or a full refund — you never lose your money if we can't fly because of weather conditions.

The flight itself lasts between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the package chosen. Counting the transfer from Medellín (~40 minutes), the safety briefing (~10 minutes), equipment preparation, the flight, and the return, the complete experience takes approximately 3 to 4 hours from when we pick you up until we drop you off at your hotel.

Logistics & preparation

About Transport, Weather & Preparation

We pick you up at your hotel or an agreed point in Medellín in a comfortable private vehicle. The trip to the San Félix viewpoint takes about 40 minutes via the Pajarito toll road. After the flight and once you receive your photos and videos, we drive you back. No taxis, no buses, no worries — you just enjoy.

San Félix is in Bello, about 40 minutes from downtown Medellín. You can get there by taxi or InDrive (~$45.000 COP each way), your own vehicle (take the Autopista Norte toward Bello, then continue toward the Pajarito Toll, Km 6), or by combining metro + bus (metro to Niquía Station, then a bus toward La Palma — less recommended). VIP transport with us is usually cheaper than two taxi trips.

Safety is our absolute priority. If the weather isn't suitable for flying (strong wind, rain or low visibility), we offer free rescheduling to another date that works for you or a full refund. We never fly if there is any risk — your money is 100% protected in case of bad weather.

Medellín has spring-like weather all year, so any month is good. We operate Monday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The best conditions are between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, when the rising thermal currents are strongest and allow for higher, longer flights. The months with less rain (December-March, July-August) tend to have slightly better conditions.

Bring: closed, comfortable shoes (essential for running at takeoff), long pants, a light jacket, sunscreen, sunglasses with a strap. Don't bring: flip-flops or sandals, loose unsecured objects (keys, caps without a strap), large cameras without a wrist strap. If you bring a phone, secure it well — at 2,600 meters there's no way to recover it.
